The Norway Bears club (Den Norske Bamseklubben) is one of Norway’s most visible queer organizations, with a 25 year history of organizing events and community for the Norwegian gay bear population. With its 300 members, the organization caters to not just the stereotypical bear, but to any queer person who identifies as male and feels a kinship to the bear brotherhood, with a focus on offering community and a social platform for those who fall outside many of the mainstream gay categories – aiming to make our span of ages, sizes, nationalities, and personalities as wide as we can.
